RE: Maxxair and Rain Sensing Fan-Tastic Fan
We have a Fantastic fan ( and it is fantastic )on our rig. I put a Maxx air vent cover on it , and it works very well.Ten years now, and counting. We thought that a rain sensor would be a good idea, but found during a trip through the Gulf Coast to Florida, that the sensor kept closing and opening the vent due to high humidity despite the cover. Drove us nuts, I finally disabled the rain sensor. Works great now.
RE: wiring a light switch?
You say that the lights and plugs worked before, but now do not? How many wires in the switch box? We would think the only wire(s) connected to the box would be bare copper grounds. Is there a splice that has come apart in the box? We need more information.
RE: Spots on the beach
Thanks everybody for all the information. Very helpful. We plan on heading down to Baja once again on Mon or Tues of this week. Those pictures of Santispac brought back a lot of memories. Perhaps we will see you along the way, John and Angela.

Spots on the beach
Hi , We were at Bahia de Los Angeles in Baja, when our refrigerator sprang a leak . The cooling unit lost all the coolant. We had to return to the States to get it repaired. Now we are in Yuma , and wondering whether to return to Baja, or to head for mainland Mexico. Can anyone give us a report on availabilaty of camping spots around Mazatlan, or Mulege and south. How about Puerto Penasco , any possibility of boondocking? Thanks for any help. Ross& Sheila
